Jazzy Johnz Joins the Fight Against Breast Cancer in Biloxi

We love a good fight, especially one that stands up against breast cancer

On October 21st, 2017, the American Cancer Society hosted a public event in Biloxi, Mississippi, Making Strides of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a fundraiser walk to help earn money for breast cancer research and to help find a cure. We were fortunate to participate in this year's annual walk as a vendor, and we think the walkers loved having upgraded facilities available mid-way on their journey. We set up our luxury 3-station toilet trailer on Esters Blvd, near the corner of Caillavet street. Seeing all the people in pink shirts was such an encouraging site. The walkers seems super enthusiastic to be on this walk for such a great cause, many of them showing their support after facing their own hardships with breast cancer.

We custom made a slide show for this particular event, which looped in each of the units. These slides featured statistical facts about breast cancer, as well as words of encouragement - all pink themed of course. Also in the trailer were vases full of pink flowers - of course!

Over $42,000 was earned after all the donations were collected.

Jazzy Johnz Toasts to the Coasts - Roaring 20s Style

Friday evening, October 20th, was a night to remember, as Gulf Coast residents ventured to Pass Christian, MS for an elegant fundraiser benefiting Coast Episcopal School. The theme of this year's Toast to the Coast fundraiser was the Roaring 20s- Gatsby Style. So, of course, Tim and I dolled ourselves up for the occasion.

A silent auction, boasting 100+ items earned the school thousands in donation profits. One of the items was even a pro football, autographed the big game quarterback hero himself, Mr. Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints!

Renowned chefs and popular restaurants from all over the Gulf Coast set up for this event to share their most popular and tasty bites.

My personal favorite was the Lollipop steak from The Rackhouse Steak & Spirits, which was placed on top of a flavorful pesto sauce then drizzled with creamy goat cheese. Um, what? I just about died and went to heaven.

Next in line of my favs were, of course, the charbroiled oysters from Half Shell Oyster House. Holy moly I could eat those things for breakfast!

Party goers danced the night away with the help of a live band. Tired dancers had the chance of taking a quick break on the adjoining white couches, which tied in perfectly with the sparking chandelier lighting hanging in the nearby ancient oak trees.

Our Trio and Septet got some pretty great use as well! It was great to hear all the feedback from the guests. I overheard one wife tell her husband how the trailer bathroom was actually nicer than the restroom they had at home. Wow! As an owner who stood silent in the moment, it was pretty rewarding to hear such a great compliment.

My sister-in-law and I made use of our time in the Septet restroom trailer by taking....you guessed it! Selfies! I admit, this was my first selfie experience in the Jazzy Johnz, but thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. We both laughed realizing how common it is to stare at yourself on the phone when taking a mirror selfie!

We also raved about the cusom-made bathroom signs the Toast to the Coast team designed themselves for the men and women's units: Old Sports & Doll Faces! They were perfect!

Overall, I would say the evening was a success! Children will benefit from all monies earned and I had a great opportunity to cater to my old soul by bringing out my inner formal flapper girl. LOL!

Jazzy Johnz Races to Raceland, LA for an Unforgettable Wedding

One of our recent clients, Misty, struggled to find a restroom solution for her barn-themed wedding, and I am so grateful she reached out to us for help. Nothing made us happier than to offer her our luxury 4-station restroom trailer, The Quartet. We ventured 120 miles to make sure she and her guests had a top-notch, successful wedding experience. Misty was such a pleasure to work with and was so complimentary toward us. It is so rewarding when clients, especially brides, take a moment to let us know how happy they are with their porta trailers. I know from first-hand experience how hectic things can be at the last minute, scurrying to finalize every detail and making sure it is all in place. Misty took the time to give us some awesome feedback in her busiest moments and for that - we are truly appreciative!

I absolutely love Misty's choice of venue, a unique red barn, perfect for a casual, fun, outdoorsy wedding theme. When you choose a venue that is truly defined, it is much easier to coordinate all the smaller details.

Jazzy Johnz Cruises to Ocean Springs for Cruisin' the Coast

Cruisin’ The Coast® has become the biggest special event in the state of Mississippi; it's also considered America's Largest Block Party. Beginning in 1996 with 374 registered vehicles, this event launched as a festival to celebrate antique, classic and hot rod vehicles, nostalgic music and related events. Today approximately 8,300 vehicles register for this annual event. The growth is astounding!

Car enthusiasts from 40 states, plus Canada, Germany and Puerto Rico, arrive on the Mississippi Gulf Coast once a year to showcase their rides and to explore our gorgeous 30-mile stretch of beach-side highway with stops in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport, Pass Christian, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula.

Huge thanks to the folks at Waste Pro for inviting us to set up our luxury 3-station restroom trailer, The Trio, in Ocean Springs for its VIPs and elected officials. Despite the event ending early, we had a great time and enjoyed making your VIP cruisers feel right at home in our VIP restrooms. We even included a custom vintage slide show, featuring slides of old classic cars. We also added a vintage touch to the trailer by including purple flowers placed in vintage mason jars. Love it!

Jazzy Johnz Rocks it at Jones Park for Gulfport Music Fest VIPs

Despite threats from Hurricane Nate, there was still time to get the show on the road at Gulfport Music Fest! Musicians from across the country flew in to take part in one of the biggest concerts here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Ludacris and 3 Doors Down were just a couple of the artists to take the stage. Huge thanks to Waste Pro and Alpha Media for inviting us to set up our luxury 4-station (The Quartet) in the VIP section. Nothing gives us greater pleasure than to give devoted concert goers a comfortable place to use the bathroom.
